Adult Mental Health
As a clinical psychologist, I provide support for adults experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties, as well as periods of significant life stress. This includes anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, anger, burnout, bereavement, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, and adjustment to major life changes or long-term health conditions.
I work closely with local psychiatrists to ensure access to the most appropriate, evidence-based psychological therapies, regardless of diagnosis. This includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and systemic approaches, tailored to individual needs.
My aim is to help you develop insight, build practical coping strategies, and strengthen emotional resilience in a calm and supportive space.
I also support people living with long-term physical health conditions, helping them manage the emotional impact and adapt in ways that support overall wellbeing.
Children and Adolescence Mental Health
I specialise in children and adolescent mental health, with extensive experience supporting young people with anxiety, OCD, school avoidance (EBSA), and social challenges. My background in child development allows me to tailor therapy to each young person’s individual needs.
I’m passionate about helping young people build confidence, resilience, and practical coping skills, while also supporting parents and carers as part of the process.
I have additional training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), helping teenagers better understand and manage their emotions.
I offer a safe, supportive space where young people can make sense of their feelings, develop skills, and thrive. Alongside this, I consult and supervise teams, keeping my work closely aligned with current school systems and challenges.
Autism, ADHD & Special Needs
I have always had an interest in special needs and complex needs. I also specialise in supporting children, young people, and adults with autism (ASC), ADHD, and other special needs. I help individuals move beyond diagnosis to understand their strengths, manage anxiety, develop coping strategies, and achieve their goals in education, work, and daily life.
I also work closely with families, schools, and other professionals, offering consultation and practical strategies to support young people with complex needs. Supporting parents and carers is central to my work, helping them feel confident in guiding their child.
My aim is to provide practical, personalised support that builds confidence, independence, and long-term wellbeing.
With an extensive experience in child development, disability, and special needs—and as a parent of a child with complex needs—I understand how unique every child and family is.
I work closely with parents and children to understand your family’s needs, offering guidance, support, and practical strategies to navigate challenges. Whether working directly with your child or supporting you as a parent, my focus is on building confidence, resilience, and positive change.
